Maryland natives Brothers Osborne won the Country Music Association Award for vocal duo of the year on Wednesday night, beating out another duo with Maryland ties.

John and TJ Osborne, of Deale in Anne Arundel County, took home the honor at the 2017 CMA Awards show in Nashville, Tenn. Also nominated in the category was LoCash, made up of Towson native Chris Lucas and Preston Brust.

It was the second consecutive vocal duo of the year win for Brothers Osborne, who have also received two Grammy nominations. The duo also won the 2017 CMA for music video of the year for “It Ain’t My Fault.”

“We will never take nights like this for granted,” Brothers Osborne tweeted after the show.

Garth Brooks won his sixth CMA entertainer of the year award at the awards show, which also featured an emotional tribute to the 58 people who were killed at a country music festival in Las Vegas last month.
