Former West Virginia standout Jamie Merriam scored two goals and assisted another to help Christos Football Club beat Fighting Bobs 6-1 to reach the final of the Maryland Champions League Rowland Cup.

Brian Graham (UNC-Greensboro) and Chris Panian (Stevenson) also scored two goals apiece in the rout. Kaoru Forbess (Maryland) and David Harris (UMBC) both contributed two assists. Eugene Brooks (Cal State Fullerton) added one helper for Christos FC, which will face Steel Pulse FC in the championship game on March 8.

Goalkeeper Brad Benzing (Millersville) only needed to make three saves against Fighting Bobs, which plays in the Washington Premier League.

On Sunday, Christos will face Yinz United in the Stewart Cup Final. If the Linthicum-Ferndale is seeking to advance to its fifth straight championship game in the Stewart Cup.

If Christos captures either the Rowland Cup or the Stewart Cup, it will advance to the USASA Region 1 Championships. Meanwhile, Christos will face Virginia United on March 24 in the first round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
